Fitness Hike on Lousley Hill Trail

McDowell Mountain Regional Park offers a brisk hike Wednesday morning to kick your day off right. This is a short but fairly steep 1.2 mile loop that will get your heart rate up. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water. Meet at the Lousley Hill Trailhead.

Free Entry To Botanical Garden

Here’s a way to skip the usual entry fee.
Make sure you go on the second Tuesday of the month.
Desert Botantical Garden in Phoenix is free July 13 and other second Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. The venue is at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway, 480-941-1225.
