Free Camping Weekend at KOA

KOA Campgrounds has a super deal for this weekend only (i.e. Friday, May 14, 2010 and Saturday, May 15, 2010). If you rent a campsite on Friday, you get the same site on Saturday for . . . free! It’s called “Come Kamp and Care with Us Weekend.” KOA has offered this great deal for seven years in a row, and what a fine way to kick off the summer!
KOA kampgrounds will be collecting donations and holding fund raising events to benefit KOA Care Camps for children with cancer, the official charity of the KOA Owners Association.
Nine Arizona KOA campgrounds are participating in the free camping deal but, of course, you can visit other states. You do need reservations. To make them (and to find the list of participating campgrounds), check the KOA website. You must stay at a participating campground, you must pay for Friday night, and then you get Saturday night free (at the same campground).
Don’t wait. Make your reservations while there are still campgrounds available.
