FREE Pow Wow Glendale Event

Glendale plans a huge Native American gala this weekend, with more than 1,000 dancers expected to compete. The event also includes a 10k race, a health expo, and Native American art and food.

Um, ok . . . so where’s the deal? Well, if you go on Friday, you get in FREE. (We’ll mention that the major competition is Saturday night, so you won’t be disappointed.)

When: Friday, May 1, 2009 (10:00 AM); Saturday May 2, 2009 (9:00 AM); and Sunday, May 3, 2009 (9:00 AM.)

How much: General admission is FREE on Friday. Tickets on Saturday and Sunday are $12. Seniors and kids six and under get in FREE.
