The Tempe Festival of the Arts returns to town and with it come over 400 artists, food vendors, and entertainers. This particular festival consistently ranks high on the list of top art events, so it’s time to go, don’t you think?

Expect good live music and top entertainment. Expect a crowd, too, so get there early.

If you have kids, take them to the Kids Innovation Station for cultural and educational entertainment. Located in 6th Street Park, just west of City Hall, this hands-on experience offers art activities for children’s interactive entertainment and education.

Where: The Tempe Festival of the Arts is held in the Mill Avenue District, in Tempe. If you take the light rail, get off at the 3rd Street & Mill stop. There is also a list of convenient parking areas right here.

When: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, March 27-29, 2009. 10:00 AM-Dusk.

How much: FREE.
