It’s hard to find a better deal than this. Come and spend your lunch hour having a good time watching a play. Usually, they highlight young, emerging talent. You’ll see a one-act play lasting 30-45 minutes.

You can carry in a box lunch and save a bit.

From May 5-15, 2009 (Mon-Fri) they are running a play called Broadway Based On . . . . ? It’s a fun revue of some of America’s favorite tunes.

Where: Herberger Theater, 222 E. Monroe St., Phoenix, 85004. (602) 254-7399. If you take the light rail, exit at the Central/Van Buren stop OR the Washington/3rd Street stop. It’s a five minute walk from there. Or you can find parking help right here. Performances are held in the Outreach Theater.

When: Monday-Friday from May 5 to May 15, 2009. 12:10 PM.

How much: $6.
