Photography Symposium at SMoCA

Listen up, all you photographers! This is a seriously good deal. The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is holding a two-day photography symposium, with an interesting lineup of events . . . and a very good price.
On Friday, May 8, 2009, you can hear guest keynote speaker Emmet Gowin. He is a photographer and professor at Princeton University–as well as a former student of Harry Callahan & Frederick Sommer.
The event on Saturday, May 9, 2009 runs all day and includes expert photographers such as:
Joseph Sterling (photographer & student of Callahan, Siskind & Sommer)
Claire C. Carter (co-curator of SMoCA’s exhibition)
Leland Rice (photographer, curator & writer)
Keith F. Davis (Curator of Photography at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City)
Harold Jones (photographer, curator , educator and former director of LIGHT Gallery, New York)
