Thank you to Charlotte on the Cheap for this deal. It’s called (appropriately enough) Free Comic Book Day–and it’s the first Saturday in May.

What you do is go into a participating comic book store and pick out a FREE comic book. Now is that so hard? Click right here to find a participating comic book store near you.

Comic book selections vary from store to store, but remember to haul along a kid or two when you go. It might just foster an interest in reading.

When: Saturday, May 2, 2009.

How much: FREE
