Mother’s Day Workshops at Michael’s

ime to get ready for Mother’s Day! Kids, there is lots you can do to show Mom how special she is. Participating Michael’s will have events all week long. You can come and make a gift for Mother’s Day.

Saturday, May 2, 2009. from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Make a keepsake plate with your photo on it.

Sunday, May 3, 2009. From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Make a one-of-a-kind t-shirt for mom. (Purchase any T-shirt and then decorate for free with their supplies.

Monday, May 4, 2009. From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Create a corsage for Mother’s Day.

Tuesday, May 5, 2009. From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Make a paper flower bouquet for Mother’s Day.

Wednesday, May 6, 2009. From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Make a personalized coupon book promising to do special chores for her.

Thursday, May 7, 2009. From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Make a lovely card for your mother.

Friday, May 8, 2009. From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Make a customized picture frame to hold her favorite picture of you. (Must purchase any of the $1 wooden frames. decorate free with Michael’s supplies.)

Saturday, May 9, 2009. From 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Make it for Mom Bead event.

Sunday, May 10, 2009. From 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Decorate a cookie with Mom. Yum!

How much: Events are FREE. In some cases you might have to make a purchase (some noted above). And a reminder that projects may vary by store. Call ahead to be sure.
