New Exhibit at Phoenix Library

Burton Barr Central Library is playing host to artist Kiyomi King. King, who specializes in watercolor, acrylic, mixed media paintings, and furniture, will be exhibiting all this in the exhibit called “Inner Sanctum.” She was inspired by her childhood in Tokyo.
Most people find her work not just inspirational, but . . . well, happy, reflecting her belief that artwork possesses the power to uplift the spirit.

When: The exhibit runs from May 1, 2009 – June 28, 2009. There will be a FREE reception for the artist on May 1, from 7:00 PM -1-:00 PM.
