I love walking in the washes, and there is quite a bit to be learned about animals there, too. Join Ranger Kevin Smith in exploring Cottonwood Wash as it drains into Cave Creek. Ranger Smith will discuss desert washes and mesas and how those ecosystems differ. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Bring water.

When: Saturday, May 16, 2009. 8:00 AM-10:00 AM
