My husband, the Baron, and I simply adore Greer Lodge Resort. We try to make it up there every summer for a wee bit of coolth. But now this same resort/lodge is having a terrific winter deal. If you are willing to stay from Sunday nights to Thursday nights until December 17, 2009, you will get your choice of great deals:
The log motel rooms will cost $29/night. Or you can stay in the very nice luxury lodge rooms (right inside the historic Greer Lodge) for $49/night. That’s where we always stay and love it. They also have the Red Setter Bed & Breakfast rooms on sale for $89/night. As you probably have guessed, this last choice includes breakfast.
The snowshoes and cross-country skis may be borrowed from the lodge at no cost to you. They’ve got snow in Greer right now!
