The Holiday Season in Phoenix officially begins this weekend when the APS Electric Light Parade rolls down Central Avenue. Lights, festivities, colorful floats, and cocoa, this celebration can’t be missed.
Gather family and friends and head down to Central Phoenix on Saturday, December 2, 2023. The parade begins at 7 p.m. but those who attend yearly will tell you to get there early for a spot. Some families bring their grills and cook out right there along the parade route as they wait in anticipation for it to begin.
This event is FREE. If you get there early, the kids can enjoy Santa’s Village with crafts, face painting, games, and get a picture with Santa.
With temperatures expected to dip down to 50 degrees Saturday night, bundle up and act like it’s winter because to those of us that call the Valley home, it is winter.
