Now that Halloween is almost an afterthought, it’s time to think about your holiday meals. Many folks love to cook and bake scrumptious huge meals. Some order out, but everyone agrees that getting the right dessert is very important.
When you don’t have the time, or don’t want to take time to make a from-scratch, delicious homemade pie for the holiday, but you still want the taste, consider ordering one from a local bakery. Maybe you order out for the entire meal or possibly you cook all week and would just like a little help with the dessert.
Well, just for you, below is a list of Phoenix’s finest bakeries for pies. You will pay more, but these places are well worth it.

Pie Snob
A Valley favorite for any occasion, but Thanksgiving and Christmas are Pie Snob’s time to shine. With 3 Valley locations in Arcadia, Uptown, and Chandler, these delicious pies may be closer than you think.
You will pay $28 for a 10 in. Pumpkin or Pumpkin Ginger Snap pie. Most other kinds of pies range between $30 to $32 for a 10 in. pie. For a large crowd, consider a Slab Pie, like a sheet pan size!
Mamma Toledo’s The Pie Hole
From the website, you can tell that this owner/baker has a tremendous sense of humor. The Holidays are a perfect time to visit The Pie Hole, with one location, at 15414 N. 7th Street, Suite #6, Phoenix, 85022, for made-from-scratch desserts.
You’ll pay $25 – $30 for all other kinds of 10 in. pies. The Pie Hole also sells 3″ pies by the dozen.

Amadio Ranch Farm Store
There’s nothing like a trip out to a farm in the fall to get ideas for completing your holiday meal menu. The Amadio Ranch Farm will be worth the trip. Not only does the Farm Store sell pies and other baked goods, but fresh fruits and vegetables along with farm-raised honey are also available.

PIEfection
If you have a very sweet tooth, PIEfection is the best place for you to purchase your holiday pies. Whipped cream rules here.
For a Pumpkin Dream pie, which includes whip cream on top, you’ll pay $26 for this $9 in. pie. Southern Pecan pie is $26, the same size, 9 in. You’re asked to pay a tin deposit of $1 on all 9 in pies, refunded upon returning the tin to the bakery in good condition.
Additionally, for delicious cheesecakes, you’ll pay $32. The smaller 6 in. pie is offered daily in a variety of kinds, and costs $12 each.
You’ll find PIEfection in the East Valley with locations in Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale, and Queen Creek.
SugarJam The Southern Kitchen
Just down-right incredibly delicious comfort food is served here. Along with SugarJam’s extensive Lunch & Weekend Brunch menus is the addition of a tremendous bakery.
For a homemade Sweet Potato Pie, will cost you $27.95. Chocolate or Bourbon Pecan pies, both 9 in. are $29.95 each.
SugarJam The Southern Kitchen is located at 15111 North Hayden Road, Suite 170, Scottsdale, 85260. It’s located in the North Scottsdale Airpark, so use your GPS to get to your destination amongst the winding roads.
Rock Springs Cafe
Located north of Anthem, and proclaimed the Valley’s official pie mecca for decades, the Rock Springs Cafe will serve you a tasty meal and insist that you try their famous homemade pies for dessert. Nostalgia rules here. If you’ve ever taken a road trip and headed north on I17, you’ve passed it by. Consider visiting the Rock Springs Cafe next time you’re in the area, and indulge in some traditional but worth-the-stop homemade pie.
For a 12 in. Pumpkin pie, you’ll pay $26.95. For Pecan pie, 12 in., you’ll pay $28.95. Order online for shipment or to pick up.

Village Inn
Including Village Inn on this list is totally about me. Ordering pie from Village Inn takes me back decades…a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. Maybe not quite that long ago. College days, late night meals with friends, that’s what Village Inn means to me and pie, of course.
