Join the festivities at the Tumbleweed Tree Lighting Ceremony, 2023. This tree still stands as the City of Chandler’s seasonal focal point as it reflects the uniqueness of its residents.
This year, the tree will be lit for the season on Saturday, December 2. This beauty will remain on display through January 2024.
The Agenda
The holiday spectacular on Saturday, December 2 begins with family fun and entertainment at 4:30 p.m. The Parade of Lights starts immediately after along Arizona Avenue at 6:45 p.m. The actual tree lighting after the parade is at approximately 8 p.m., with the event to end at 9 p.m. All FREE except for a few of the fun attractions.
When not watching the parade, kids can play their way through giant inflatables that bounce, bump, and slide. Inflatables and other attractions will require tickets. Individual tickets are available for $1. Time on an inflatable will take 3 – 5 tickets. Unlimited wristbands are $20 each.
Don’t miss the FREE live performances taking place throughout the evening, just not during the parade. Free festivities include an area for kids of all ages to write and decorate letters to Santa. Don’t forget to visit the man himself, Santa Clause, who will be hearing gift wish lists before and after the parade.
Parking
Parking may be an issue because of the streets blocked off for the event. Please check out this map of the parade and event, which also shows available parking garages.
