Time to warm up the Mariachis and get ready to sing and dance as we celebrate our community’s Latino Heritage.
The 30th Annual Cinco De Mayo Downtown Phoenix Festival is one of the largest multicultural festivals in Arizona commemorating Mexico’s victory over the French Army in the 1862 Battle of Puebla. There’s something for the whole family as this historic victory has given way to acknowledging Latino past and current contributions to our community and our country.
The Cinco de Mayo street festival is located between the skyscrapers in downtown Phoenix and provides attendees with non-stop fun, music, games, and giveaways. This year’s headliner is none other than Los Lonely Boys.
While you dance to the live music, be prepared for a visit from Lucha Libre and performances by Ballet Folklorico. For the younger ones, they’ll be a Kids Zone with Interactive Rides. Plenty of food will be for sale and prizes will be raffled too.
