Indulge in delicious hot pizza under a gorgeous Phoenix fall afternoon at the fun and frivolous Phoenix Pizza Fest this weekend.
The 8th annual Phoenix Pizza Fest features more than 20 pizza makers slinging dough by the slice or by the pie. The popular event also features performances by some of Phoenix’s best local bands, plus lawn games, desserts, local market vendors, kid’s activities, and more. Bars will offer a selection of wine, beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.
The festival takes place Saturday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Margaret T. Hance Park, 1202 North 3rd Street, Phoenix, 85004.
Tickets
All tickets are General Admission, and all food and drink items cost extra once inside. A General Admission ticket is listed at $16 each for ages 6 and up, but actually costs $19.93 each after a fee and sales tax online. Ages 5 and under are free.
The price can add up, especially if you have a family, but remember it’s a community event that celebrates local food, drink, and music.
Tickets must be purchased in advance for ages 6 and up, right here.
Parking
You’ll find the festival on the east side of the Margaret T. Hance Park between 1st Street & 3rd Street, south of McDowell and north of Roosevelt.
Taking Light Rail to the park is the best idea. The festival is just a 6-8 minute walk from the light rail stops at Central/Roosevelt and Central/McDowell.
If you’re driving, the parking garage at 1001 N. Central Ave. is the closest and will cost you $20. Access this garage at 1st Street, north of Roosevelt. Click here if you’d like to reserve a parking spot in advance.
Enjoy the excitement and energy at this truly unique and absolutely fun festival in Phoenix this weekend.
