The weather is perfect for a fun and an informative trip into fascinating history at the Civil War Reenactment happening at the Pioneer Living History Museum in North Phoenix, January 14 – 15, 2023.
The The Arizona Civil War Council is presenting this reenactment. The public is invited to “come see living history demonstrations, battle reenactments, artillery demonstrations, and self-guided tours of the military camps.” Check out the schedule of events below:
Saturday, January 14th: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
- 11:00AM – 1st Reenactment Battle
- 2:00PM – 2nd Reenactment Battle
Sunday, January 15th: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
- 11:00AM – 1st Reenactment Battle
- 2:00PM – 2nd Reenactment Battle
Although no Civil War battles actually took place in Arizona (only the Picacho Peak skirmish, 1862), this reenactment is fact-based focusing on Civil War battles in general and the realities of military life.
The Pioneer Living History Museum is located at 3901 West Pioneer Road, Phoenix, 85086. The admission cost allows visitors to experience the museum’s western-style town and the Civil War Reenactments on January 14 or 15.

- Children under 5 are free
- Adults are $12
- Veterans, Public Safety/Police & Fire and Seniors are $8
