Lights! Camera! Savings! The Cinema Foundation is making the end of summer more action-packed with the celebration of its second annual National Cinema Day.
The Foundation is encouraging the public to enjoy a flick with friends and family by offering a blockbuster deal for one day only.

On Aug. 27, 2023, tickets will be just $4 at most movie theaters across the country, including the following:
AMC Theatres
Cinemark
Harkins Theatres
Regal Cinemas

The nationwide discount day will be available at more than 3,000 theaters and on more than 30,000 screens. At participating theaters, tickets will be no more than $4 for every showing in all formats. The discounted ticket pricing does not include tax or online and/or third-party ticketing fees.
Use this site to check for theaters and showtimes. On the site, search “Maricopa, United States” for a list of theaters and showtimes in the Valley of the Sun.
Plus, some theaters will also be offering concessions specials, so be sure to check at each location for additional savings.
AMC Theatres
AMC Theatres is offering a small popcorn and small fountain drink combo for just $5.
Harkins Theatres
Harkins Theatres is offering a medium soft drink and medium popcorn for just $4 each. The concessions special is only available to My Harkins Awards members.
Regal Cinema Gilbert
Regal Cinemas is offering a small popcorn and small fountain drink combo for just $4.
It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a summer blockbuster on the big screen again or experience a new flick you’ve been wanting to check out. Frugal film fanatics might even be able to fit in a few discounted screenings for the day, if they plan accordingly.
