Visit tonight’s free Open Air Market at the Phoenix Public Market in downtown Phoenix and help a kid battle cancer by buying yourself a new hat.
The national nonprofit project, Love Your Melon, will be selling those hats. For each hat you buy, another is donated to a kid with cancer. The nonprofit personally delivers the special hats to kids in hospitals across the country. They are making a stop in Phoenix to introduce you to the idea. The purpose of the hat is to help a child feel warm and cared for as they undergo cancer treatments.
