JL Hoops Basketball Camps is hosting its 9th Annual Youth Basketball Camp in Phoenix on Sat., June 28, 2014 — FREE to the first 125 campers who register online. The skills camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 3-8 in fall 2014. It runs from 9 .m. to 1 p.m. Gym opens at 8:30 a.m.
Camp Director Jason Ludwig, Director of Basketball Operations for Arizona State University’s Men’s Basketball Team, founded JL Hoops in California in 2005, to help mentor kids through life lessons learned on the basketball court. Since then he’s helped more than 1,000 kids.
Now in his second season with ASU, Ludwig previously was on the coaching staff at University of California at Los Angeles, his alma mater, and at Santa Clara University. More than 20 of his college basketball players have gone on to play for the NBA.
