Everyone loves their four-legged friends. We have put together some fun upcoming events you get to include your dog.
Join AZ Paws and Claws Pet Fostering for the Racin’ For Rescues 5K and 1 Mile event! This pet-friendly event will hit the paths at Freestone Park in Gilbert on April 5, 2020.
Millions of unwanted dogs and cats are put down every year in US shelters. They want to help change that! When you participate in Racin’ for Rescues, you will help them find homes for these pets so they may find new forever homes they’ve been waiting for. All volunteers are unpaid and willingly put themselves and their hearts on the line to save animals. The funds they collect will help them feed more hungry dogs and cats, provide needed emergency medical care, create more neuter/spay programs for the public and get one step closer to saving them all.

– Pre- and Post-Race “Runner’s Brunch” (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

Race Information
This event is leashed pet and stroller friendly!
You will have two opportunities to pick-up your race packet (bib, chip, event swag, etc):
- Friday, April 3rd from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at Sole Sports in Tempe (map)
- Sunday, April 5th starting at 7:00 am at Freestone Park (event site)
