Thrilling carnival rides, monster truck shows, competitions, exhibits, and smelly barn animals, it’s time for the Maricopa County Fair. From Friday, April 5 to Sunday, April 14, there’s more fun here than you can imagine, plus funnel cake.
The Maricopa County Fair takes place at the Arizona Exposition & State Fairgrounds at 1826 West McDowell Road, Phoenix, 85007.
Entrance & Ride Tickets
It will cost $10 at the gate for a ticket into the Fair, age 7 and younger are FREE. Check your junk mail at home, you may receive a postcard from the Maricopa County Fair in the coming weeks, which gives a discount code, good for an online prepaid $5 entrance ticket.

Midway Rides at the Fair will cost you a certain number of tickets for each ride. Purchasing unlimited ride wristbands will be linked here as soon as it’s available.
Parking at the Maricopa County Fair is $12 per car close to the gate. Handicap parking is located next to the gate. There is no shuttle and no off-site parking is provided.

Friday, April 5th: 11am to midnight
Saturday, April 6th: 11am to midnight
Sunday, April 7th: 11am to 11pm
Monday – Wednesday, April 8th, 9th, & 10th: CLOSED
Thursday, April 11th: 11am to 10pm
Friday, April 12th: 10am to midnight
Saturday, April 13th: 11am to midnight
Sunday, April 14th: 11am to 11pm
Discount Days
Thursday, April 11 is Read to Ride Day, children, Kindergarten through 6th grade, read 4 books and submit this form for FREE entrance and 4 ride tickets from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Parent or teacher needs to sign off on the form.
Friday, April 12, FREE admission for Seniors, 55 and older, all day.
Friday, April 5; Thursday, April 11; & Friday, April 12, FREE ’til 3. Free admission for everyone from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thursday, April 11, Bring 5 cans of food or non perishable food items to receive FREE admission into the Fair all day. No limit – bring 25 items, 5 people get in FREE. Food collected will be donated to Saint Mary’s Food Bank. Please check this site for details.
