The Zoo at night? It’s the best time this Holiday Season to visit the Phoenix Zoo for ZooLights. Get ready for four million lights with illuminating displays including Wildlife Lanterns and the tallest floating tree in North America.
It’s not just the background noise of the real animals you’ll hear. Original music is synchronized with a brilliant light show. Again this year, there’s also an interactive glow garden that winds its ways through a 200 foot-long light tunnel.
Santa’s also there for photo ops. For more information on Santa at ZooLights, click here.
It doesn’t matter how young or old you are this incredibly immersive experience shouldn’t be missed. Enjoy fun stuff like live reindeer, a polar slide, and yummy food fit for the holiday.

The Zoo is located at 455 North Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008

Purchase tickets to ZooLights here.
Handicap parking is located close to the entrance.
While there’s no extra charge for parking at The Phoenix Zoo, the lot gets packed, so you’ll most likely have to park quite a ways away from the entrance. There are no shuttles for the lot located at the Zoo, so drop off those members of the family who might struggle with the walk at the front entrance and then go park.
On very busy nights, the Zoo opens additional parking lots just south of Van Buren Street, and runs a shuttle between there and ZooLights’ front entrance.
