It seems like 2020 just barely started, but it’s already time for the Super Bowl. Maybe you didn’t think yet about how to feed your hungry football fans, or what you might want to drink to drown your sorrows over the referee’s calls. Or maybe you don’t care about the game at all, but want to know where there are big screens and tasty appetizers to enjoy while waiting for the commercials. (That’s me.)
Here are some places all around the valley with big screens, and great food and drink specials. See below for maps and links to the venues.
Downtown: Crescent Ballroom
The game will be projected on the lounge screen and lounge TV.
Tempe: El Hefe
Watching at El Hefe will be more nightclub than a sports bar, with DJ music and food and drink specials. Tempe will screen it on a 25-foot-high “mega TV.”
Ahwatukee: Cactus Jack’s
The game will be showing on all of their HDTVs, with no cover.
Glendale: Marc’s Sports Grill & Nightlife
Door prizes, get your door prizes here! You can also get $1 off happy hour prices until 7 p.m., then $3.75 well drinks and domestic pints from 7 to 9 p.m. If you’re not ready to go home after the game, there will also be karaoke starting at 9 p.m. Starting at 11 a.m.
Gilbert: Whiskey Row
Poor eyesight? This is the place for you. The game will be on every single TV including the one that is 40-feet tall. You’ll enjoy the rock and country music thanks to the DHs, and food and drink specials will be offered. Starting at 3 p.m.
