It’s SUPER BOWL time of the year. Right after Christmas, and we all are feeling the pinch for Sunday, February 11.
If you’re watching at home, throwing a party doesn’t have to cost much. Like any other party, with a little thought, it can be Epic fun and affordable.
The Venue, so is it your place or mine? Who has the biggest screen? It’s settled, it’s at your house. Who all is coming? Invite neighbors and your besties. That’s what parties are all about.
Here are some great menu ideas that are delicious, but also easy to fix for your guests too:
Loaded Nachos/Guacamole– with jalapeno’s, please
Brauts on Bun with Peppers and Onions
Sweet and Sour Cocktail Meatballs
Offer one item on the menu to each guest or let them choose a dish on their own. Sometimes the surprise of what you will be eating is half the fun.
It’s a BYOB party, so the drinks are covered.
Stop by the Dollar Store and pick up some cool plastic platters and maybe a couple of balloons, paper plates and cups and you are good to go.
Keep the fun going all afternoon: start a football pool, or play a friendly Super Bowl trivia game. Everyone loves to boast they know it all.
Have your game plan in order. Enjoy the game and the party. All on a budget.
