We all want to show our Veterans appreciation for their service. Observing Veteran’s Day on November 11 by attending ceremonies and celebrations around the Valley, which acknowledge their service is a reverent way to spend the holiday.
Below are several places showing the love, so join the celebration and soak up the generosity of our community. Our Veteran’s deserve it.
Ceremony and Celebrations:
The City of Chandler honors and celebrates the brave men, women, and families who have fought and sacrificed for our liberty and freedom in early November.
On Friday, Nov. 3, active and retired military service members and their loved ones in Chandler are invited to the 3rd Annual Military Appreciation Breakfast for a morning of fellowship, appreciation, and information gathering from community resources. This FREE event will be held at Chandler Community Center from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3.
The City of Chandler’s celebration continues with their Annual Veterans Day FREE event, on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 4:30 – 8 p.m. at the acclaimed Field of Honor, located within Veterans Oasis Park.
Anthem Veterans Memorial Veterans Day Ceremony takes place between 8:15 to 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11. There’s a breakfast, military speakers, and service acknowledgements.

On Saturday, Nov. 11, the City of Scottsdale’s Annual Veteran’s Commemoration will be from 10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. on the Scottsdale Civic Center Memorial Lawn at 3939 North Drinkwater Blvd., Scottsdale, 85251.
Join American Legion Post 44 at the Civic Center and other veteran service organizations in honoring those who have served in the U.S. armed forces. The keynote speaker is Michael McLaughlin, Rear Admiral, USN (Ret.).
Parades:
Phoenix Veteran’s Day Parade–Join 45,000+ spectators to honor United States Veterans on November 11th, 2023 at 11 a.m. This FREE community parade is such an important local celebration of Veterans from Arizona.
The parade starts at Montebello and Central, runs southbound, then turns east on Camelback Road, and then turns south on 7th Street.
Best parking options are along the streets, like Camelback Road, East of Central Avenue and West of 7th Street. Also try parking along 7th Street just south of Camelback to Montecito. Check the website for parade route details.
This is a local favorite parade, so get there at least by 10 a.m. to find your spot.
The East Valley Veterans Parade is proud to announce their theme for 2023, “Vietnam Valor,” which is a recognition of the 50 years that have passed since the conclusion of the war in Vietnam.
The East Valley Veterans Parade provides an opportunity for the community to gather in honoring, thanking and celebrating all local Veterans, active Military, and their families on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The parade starts on Center Street and University in Mesa and runs South on Center St. to 1st St, it then turns west onto 1st St. and continues to Robson. Click here for a parade route map.

Experience National Parks for FREE on Veteran’s Day. All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone on Nov. 11.
