Take a Military Veteran out to eat this Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2013, at Chompie’s. This award-winning Jewish deli is among many of the restaurants in Greater Phoenix, Ariz., offering a 50 percent discount to active duty and retired military personnel and veterans who show their military identification to their server on Veteran’s Day.
Offered as a means to say “thank you,” the deal honors past and present veterans–and their families–for the great sacrifice given for their country. The 50 percent discount is good for one dine-in entree, one discount per check, and is not valid with other offers. Tax and gratuity are extra.
Chompie’s New York-style delicatessen, restaurant, bagel factory, bakery and caterer, has been in business in Phoenix since 1979. It is open seven days a week in four locations, including Paradise Valley Mall in Phoenix, Mercado del Rancho Center in Scottsdale, near Arizona State University in Tempe (on University) and at Chandler Village Center in Chandler.
