How about doing some volunteer work with the family this summer? Check out this opportunity.
Every Saturday, from July 13 to Aug 31, 2024, the Creighton Community Foundation hosts a food distribution to meet the needs of the immediate community. Come volunteer and help assemble, pack, and distribute food boxes to cars through a mobile drive up line.
Water, snacks, and gloves are supplied. Family members of all ages are welcome to join.
The Creighton Community Foundation food distribution takes place on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., July 13 through August 31 at Excelencia School, located at 2181 E McDowell Rd, Phoenix 85006.
Please sign up here. You’ll be asked to choose a time frame, either 7:00 – 8:30 a.m. or 8:30 – 11 a.m.
The Creighton Community Foundation also offers a garden work day on various dates throughout the summer, which you can also sign-up for on the above link.
