It’s a great time of year to visit the Phoenix Zoo. Can’t get enough of fascinating and loveable animals in their own environment, not to mention the playland for the kids when they need a break from strolling around. Wait a minute, there’s much more to see and do at the Zoo this weekend.
Two events are taking place at the Zoo this weekend that will appeal to all members of the family, those who like to dance, and those who like to roar.
DÍA DEL NIÑO
Join the Dia del Nino celebration at the Phoenix Zoo for a wild and wonderful festival of children, animals, and Hispanic culture. You and your family will enjoy a variety of family-friendly entertainment and activities all with a Latin flair.
The Dia del Nino celebration at the Phoenix Zoo is on Sunday, April 30, from 9 am to 1 pm.
The cost of entrance into the Dia del Nino celebration is included with your Phoenix Zoo admission. See below for admission price details.
DINOSAURS IN THE DESERT
They’re baaack! At least until Sunday April 30. Journey back in time at the Phoenix Zoo. Immerse yourself in a world where colossal dinosaurs and other ancient beasts dominated the landscape in this not-to-be missed prehistoric experience. Creatures include Giganotosaurus, saber-toothed cat, sea scorpion, terror bird, and more.
Roar with Dinosaurs in the Desert during regular Zoo hours, which are Monday through Sunday, 9 am – 5 pm. (Note: Zoo hours will change with the coming of the summer heat beginning June 1.)
Entrance into Dinosaurs in the Desert is included with your Phoenix Zoo admission. See below for admission price details.
