Is the parking garage on Jefferson free for disabled? Is this the shortest walk to the convention center?
Thank you for asking, it’s an important question. Parking garages around the Phoenix Convention Center do have accessible parking spaces for the disabled but it’s not free, it’s a $15 rate, which is the price for all spaces. The Expo is in the South Building of the Convention Center, so the parking garage at 100 N 3rd St. is the closest. To clarify, the parking garage on Jefferson mentioned in my post is offering $5 off, but it’s not the closest parking garage. Also, there’s some metered street parking in the area available at $3 an hour.
