Halloween Spooktacular, Chandler
Gather your little ghosts, goblins and superheroes and get ready for Chandler’s FREE Halloween Spooktacular at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park’s Stage Plaza in Downtown Chandler at 178 E. Commonwealth Ave., Chandler, 85225. This fang-tastic party will be on Friday, Oct. 28 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes and take part in the fun-filled activities in the park. Scheduled for this spooktacular evening are a costume catwalk, trunk or treat, carnival games, and a monster mash dance party.
Halloween Stroll – Downtown Tempe
Calling all ghosts, goblins, and princesses of all ages to Tempe’s Halloween Stroll Downtown. Join the FREE fun for a not-so-spooky Halloween. Events planned include games like Dart Boogie, crafts, a Kids-Only Costume Contest plus trick-or-treating with over 25 downtown merchants. Stroll on over, on Sunday, October 30 from 2 to 5 pm to Downtown Tempe, in the area of 1 West Rio Salado Pkwy, Tempe, 85281.
Dia De Los Muertos Phoenix Festival
Making appearances at Dia de los Muertos in Phoenix this year will be Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent, La Llorona looking for her children, skeletons looking for dance partners, and La Procesión, a celebratory procession in which the audience joins performers in a candlelit, joyful burst of music, dance and remembrance. Join this FREE, fun, festive, and uniquely southwestern cultural experience on Sunday, October 30 from 2 to 7 pm at Steel Indian School Park, located at 300 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix 85012.
Arizona Fall Festival from Local First
Dust off your favorite fall gear and gather your friends and family, Local First’s FREE Arizona Fall Festival takes place on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Margaret T. Hance Park, 67 W. Culver St., Phoenix, 85003. The state’s largest certified local event is a celebration of all things Arizona, connecting people, entertainers, and more than 200 community businesses in a family-friendly and dog-friendly atmosphere that is absolutely free to attend.
4th Annual Family Fun Harvest Festival
Family Fun Arizona is hosting their FREE Annual Family Fun Harvest Festival on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 11 am to 3 pm inside The Arizona Boardwalk. Ride on the hayrides or decorate a mini pumpkin! DJ Flo will be playing music on center stage while the kids enjoy the bounce houses, slides, face painting and more. The Arizona Boardwalk is located at 9500 East Vía de Ventura, Scottsdale, 85256. Register ahead of time to be entered into a drawing.
