Dress as your favorite action hero and join the FREE fun at the Action & Adventure Festival on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Arizona Boardwalk, 9500 East Vía de Ventura, Scottsdale, 85256. Meet your favorite action heroes, fly on a zipline, enjoy bounce houses and slides, face painting, live entertainment, action-packed performances, raffle prizes and giveaways, and local vendors for shopping.
Portal to the Past Festival is a FREE event at the Pueblo Grande Museum on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 2 to 4 pm at 4619 E. Washington Street, Phoenix, 85034. One of the only events within the city of Phoenix that combines indigenous history, cultural performances, archaeology, and interactive programming that is fun for the whole family. Attendees will enjoy tours, exhibits, craft activities, indigenous artist demonstrations and performances throughout the afternoon
Bring the whole family to Peoria’s FREE Spooktacular outdoor movie & Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Fletcher Heights Park in the Arrowhead Ranch Community at 8135 W. Lone Cactus Dr., Peoria, 85383 from 4 to 8:30 pm. Grab a blanket, chair, your family & friends and enjoy the FREE big screen Halloween- themed family movie night featuring Sony Pictures: Ghostbusters Afterlife. Food Truck Picnic & so much more.
Lots of fun is predicted for this spook-tacular children’s trick-or-treat event–going from trunk to trunk, getting bags full of goodies. A bouncy house, face painting, and food trucks are also planned. Join the City of Peoria for their FREE Halloween Monster Bash for a night of tricks and plenty of delicious treats as well as musical entertainment, costume contest, and activities for the whole family. The spooky free event takes place Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 from 5 – 9 p.m. at the Peoria Sports Complex, located at 16101 N. 83rd Ave., 85382. Be there or beware!
Talented Arizona Artists will showcase their unique hand-made original creations at Ahwatukee’s FREE Art & Crafts Festival, on Saturday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, October 23 from 10 am to 3 pm at Ahwatukee Plaza, 5009-5055 East Elliot Rd., Phoenix, 85044. The Art & Craft Festival features over 40 of southern Arizona’s most talented artists displaying their one of a kind art and crafts – unique, stylish, affordable, and fun.
Gather your little ghosts, goblins and superheroes and get ready for Chandler’s FREE Halloween Spooktacular at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park’s Stage Plaza in Downtown Chandler at 178 E. Commonwealth Ave., Chandler, 85225. This fang-tastic party will be on Friday, Oct. 28 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes and take part in the fun-filled activities in the park. Scheduled for this spooktacular evening are a costume catwalk, trunk or treat, carnival games, and a monster mash dance party.
Dust off your favorite fall gear and gather your friends and family, Local First’s FREE Arizona Fall Festival takes place on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Margaret T. Hance Park, 67 W. Culver St., Phoenix, 85003. The state’s largest certified local event is a celebration of all things Arizona, connecting people, entertainers, and more than 200 community businesses in a family-friendly and dog-friendly atmosphere that is absolutely free to attend.
Family Fun Arizona is hosting their FREE Annual Family Fun Harvest Festival on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 11 am to 3 pm inside The Arizona Boardwalk. Ride on the hayrides or decorate a mini pumpkin! DJ Flo will be playing music on center stage while the kids enjoy the bounce houses, slides, face painting and more. The Arizona Boardwalk is located at 9500 East Vía de Ventura, Scottsdale, 85256.
